Just when we thought the Sixers couldn’t get any worse, they go and do something like this. Facing off against the Hawks without Trae Young, the odds were stacked against us. Thankfully we countered with no Maxey, George, Andre Drummond, and even Kelly Oubre. You think it’s a game Atlanta??? We coasted to an easy 123-132 loss with a double-digit deficit most of the way.
BUT WAIT, there’s more! In a loaded slate of relevant games, the Sixers kept stacking wins. The Nets inexplicably beat the Lakers thanks to an 8-26 night from Luka Doncic. The Raptors eventually pulled away from the Wizards thanks to 32 points from AJ Lawson who has been in Toronto for about ten minutes. And the Bulls won! Even the Hornets won last night. After what happened Sunday night, we needed this desperately.
Philly is tied with Toronto and Brooklyn at 22 wins with the Raptors only 1 loss ahead in 5th. Wouldn’t you know it, Sixers at Raptors on Wednesday. MOST IMPORTANT GAME OF THE SEASON SO FAR.
Lottery Odds
We are SOOOOOO back. After nearly dropping out of contention with a single win on Sunday, the world was corrected on Monday. The Nets and Sixers are tied for the 6 spot. With losses by both the next 2 days, it could be a tie at the 5th spot next time we talk.

Games to Follow Coming Up
Numbers in parenthesis is the number of games ahead and behind the Sixers in the standings. Sixers record is 22-42 with 18 games to play.
March 11
- Brooklyn (EVEN) at Cleveland – Stranger things have happened, remember when Philly beat Cleveland?
- Clippers at New Orleans (-5.5) – I am almost out of faith in the Pelicans. They aren’t even losing close anymore. They just suck. They get it.
March 12
- Philly at Toronto (-.5) – The biggest game of the season so far. Not hyperbole. PLEASE KEEP TYRESE MAXEY SAFE ON THE SIDELINE!!!
