The Sixers have lost 23 out of their last 26 games, going from the playoff hunt to 2 games out of the 4th worst record in the league. With 7 games to play, we are looking at a possible 15 game losing streak to end the season. That would be 30 out of 33 in total. With only one fellow tanker left on the schedule, it’s legitimately on the table. The Sixers would finish 23-59 after being a preseason favorite. Toronto basically gave up tanking last night because they were so overwhelmed by our inferiority. They were up double figures most of the game while not playing two starters and limiting others. We are buying goddamn tigers while they are just holding back minutes. The season ends in exactly 2 weeks, a game every other day, and we will be dragging in losses by the duffle bag.
Brooklyn is one game behind us now, but they seem to have a slightly easier schedule. While we just have Washington left, they have Dallas, Toronto, and New Orleans. That last game could be pivotal. The Pelicans have that Brooklyn game and end the season with OKC likely having nothing to play for. If they win 2 more games and we lose out, that would be a tie for #4 and a roughly 73% chance to keep the pick.
The World is Ours.

March 31
- Brooklyn (+1) at Dallas – This is a winnable game for Brooklyn assuming some combination of their injured big men (Anthony Davis, Daniel Gafford, and Derek Lively) are out. Going up 2 games in the win column would be huge.
April 1 (Happy Birthday Randy Orton and brother Paul!)
- Sixers at New York – This better be a blood bath. TCB Nova Knicks.
- Toronto (+5) at Chicago – What was once a tight battle has ballooned into a 5 game lead for Philadelphia. They are on the verge of coming off the list. They weren’t ready.
