After ESPN dropped their “bombshell” story on Jalen Hurts being a selfish, anti-team player in need of a new contract, the festering wound of negative Hurts opinions spewed upon the internet with far too many hardly waiting to get their shots in. Haven’t you heard that the Super Bowl MVP with the sterling record on and off the field is actually terrible and you are an idiot for thinking otherwise? Pay no mind that the article ignores the pleas and praises from teammates and coaches who go out of their way to credit the man to the highest degree. They have no use in the narrative.

What the article did was expose us to the cesspool that constantly surrounds Hurts, the truth be damned.

• The Lackey – Like the aids of politicians given jobs when their man takes office, they know the gravy train ends when someone gets elected. If Sirianni gets fired, ESPNs sources will get fired too
• The Media – ESPN, WIP, and the local papers are not journalists. They have a financial interest in getting you engaged, facts be damned. Opinions that have no validity are given more than equal time with intellectual dishonesty running rampant
• The Armchair Analyst – Remember, form your opinion first, then cherry pick the clips and arguments you need to present it while offering no context. These are your Emmanuel Achos and Chase Daniels of the world who want you to believe their opinions carry the same weight as someone whose livelihood doesn’t depend on clicks and views with the more bullshit the better. They are usually identified by words like “superteam”, ignorance to the Eagles offensive line struggles, and unrelenting praise for QBs who constantly fail in the playoffs.
• The Fan of the Other Team – Why do we fight with Cowboys fans about Jalen Hurts? You aren’t going to convince them of anything. They can be loud and incorrect all they want. The minute they argue stats over Super Bowls, you know rational thought has left the argument. DO NOT ENGAGE!
• Never-Hurts Eagles Fans – I don’t know if it is bred from racism or past trauma, but these types are missing the best time in football history to be an Eagles fan for reasons I simply do not understand.
