The Sixers kept the positivity train going this week by signing KCP and maybe more importantly, getting rid of Johni Broome, the worst player in NBA history (probably). The Eagles made it even better by not only just returning to our lives, but signing Jalen Carter to a massive (yet cap courteous) extension. Thankfully, this was enough to get us through a not-literal-but close funeral in Miami for the Phillies on Wednesday. They are going to try to Bernie Lomax this thing to the finish line, but…yikes! Somehow this got me talking about the looming baseball labor issues.
