When players near the end of their contracts or hit free agency, they need a new deal. Usually, the reports of these new deals come with some sticker shock. From time to time, I will take a stab at predicting these deals based on comparison contracts from around the league while considering age, inflation, and market factors. Some have been dead on like Zack Baun and Myles Garrett while Connor McDavid’s wasn’t even close. Here is a rundown of all the deals in my Next Contract series.
