This past week, Eagles GM Howie Roseman turned two compensation picks into an elite pass rusher a day after trading up with his biggest enemy to steal a Steelers draft pick while they were talking to him and a day before taking flyers on two absurd athletes from Africa who have never played football before. Meanwhile the Phillies are in the midst of a god awful first month of a season and a floundering roster that their GM, Dave Dombrowski, told reporters he was content with after his only offseason plan (to get Bo Bichette) failed. One is regularly and aggressively turning over every rock in the pursuit of any kind of edge that will result in a 3rd Super Bowl Championship while the other throws money at players with no back up plan. How can the Phillies do their business seeing how the Eagles do their business?
