- January 1, 2007 – Phillies sign Chase Utley to a 7/$85m extension
- January 2, 2015 – Eagles demote Howie Roseman and promote Chip Kelly to GM
- January 9, 2024 – Flyers trade for Jamie Drysdale, sending malcontent and forever-villain Cutter Gauthier to Anaheim
- January 13, 1965 – The Sixers acquire Wilt Chamberlain from the Warriors in exchange for Connie Dierking, Paul Neumann, Lee Schaffer, and $50k
- January 27, 1982 – Phillies trade Ryne Sandberg to the Cubs (with Larry Bowa) for Ivan de Jesus
February
- February 4, 2018 – The Eagles defeat the Patriots in the Greatest Game Ever Played, Super Bowl 52. This is the first Super Bowl win in franchise history.
- February 6, 2019 – Sixers trade for Tobias Harris, sending a 2020 1st, 2021 1st (from Miami), and two 2nds to the Clippers
- February 7, 2019 – Phillies acquire JT Realmuto from the Marlins for Sixto Sanchez, Jorge Alfaro, Will Stewart, and International Bonus Money
- February 9, 2025 – The Eagles kick the crap out of the Chiefs in Super Bowl 59. This was the most recent Super Bowl won by the Eagles.
- February 10, 2021 – Sixers trade Ben Simmons to the Nets for James Harden
- February 18, 2021 – Eagles trade Carson Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts
- February 21, 2004 – Eagles trade back-up QB AJ Feeley to the Dolphins for a 2005 2nd round pick (LOL)
- February 25, 1972 – Phillies acquire Steve Carlton from the St. Louis Cardinals for Rick Wise
- February 28, 2019 – Phillies sign Bryce Harper to a 13/$330m contract
March
- March 2, 1962 – The Sixers Wilt Chamberlain scores 100 points against the Knicks in Hershey, PA. This is the highest individual point total in NBA history by a lot.
- March 10, 2015 – Eagles trade for Sam Bradford, sending Nick Foles and a 2nd round pick to the St. Louis Rams
- March 14, 2006 – Eagles release Terrell Owens
- March 16, 2004 – Eagles officially trade for Terrell Owens after 13 days of drama and sign him to a 7/$48.7m contract.
- March 19, 2020 – Eagles trade for Darius Slay
- March 25, 2018 – Phillies extend Scott Kingery before his MLB debut
- March 31-ish, 2005 – Phillies offer Shane Victorino back to the Dodgers as a Rule 5 pick, but the Dodgers decline to accept his rights
April
- April 2, 1992 – Phillies acquire Curt Schilling from the Houston Astros for Jason Grimsley
- April 4, 2010 – Eagles trade Donovan McNabb to Washington for a 2nd and a 4th round pick
- April 10, 2007 – Despite having the worst record in the NHL and a 48% chance to win the lottery, the Flyers end up with the #2 pick as #5 Chicago jumps the pack despite only an 8.1% chance of doing so. This will eventually leave Patrick Kane as a Blackhawk and James van Riemsdyk as a Flyer…and the Flyers losing the Stanley Cup.

- 2009 – Eagles trade for Jason Peters
- 2023 – Eagles extend Jalen Hurts for 5/$255m making him the highest paid player in league history
- April 20, 2016 – Eagles trade a 2016 1st (#8), 3rd, 4th, 2017 1st, and a 2018 2nd for the #2 pick in the draft and the right to draft Carson Wentz
- April 22, 2012 – The Shift: Game 6 of the NHL Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Penguins, Claude Giroux comes out and levels Sidney Crosby then scores the opening goal around 30 seconds later. Flyers win the game 5-1 and the series 4-2
- April 26, 2010 – Phillies sign Ryan Howard to a 5/$125m early extension, about 14 months after signing him to a 3/$54m extension that took him through arbitration
- April 28
- 1900 – Phillies purchased Harry Wolverton from the Chicago Orphans (WTF is that team?)
- 2012 – Derek Rose injures his knee in a 1st Round Playoff series against the Sixers. The #8 seed Sixers win the series, giving them a false sense of accomplishment and convincing the team to go all-in on Andrew Bynum
- 2022 – Eagles trade for AJ Brown from the Tennessee Titans and sign him to a 4/$100m extension
May
- May 11, 2006 – Aaron Rowand makes a full speed game saving catch slamming face first into an exposed metal plate in the center field wall in the process. For who? His teammates. For what? To win the game.
- May 17, 1979 – Phillies beat the Cubs 23-22 in the wildest box score you’ll ever see
- May 29, 2018 – Bryan Colangelo is outed by Ben Dietrich and The Ringer for leaking Sixers team secrets in the scandal known as Burnergate. His ways were mutually parted a few days later
- May 30, 1983 – Eagles trade Bryce Huff to the 49ers, truly getting something for nothing.
- May 31, 1983 – Sixers sweep the LA Lakers to win the NBA Finals. This is the last time the Sixers won a championship
June
- June 2, 1989 – The Phillies acquire John Kruk from the San Diego Padres along with Randy Ready for Chris James
- June 6, 2019 – Eagles sign Carson Wentz to a 4/$128m extension
- June 16, 1986 – Sixers trade Moses Malone, Terry Catledge, a 1986 1st (#21), and a 1988 1st (#12 (from Washington and ended up being Harvey Grant)) to Washington for Jeff Ruland and Cliff Robinson.
- June 17, 1992 – The Sixers trade Charles Barkley to the Suns for Jeff Hornacek, Tim Perry, and Andrew Lang
- June 18, 1989 – Phillies acquire Lenny Dykstra from the Mets along with Roger McDowell and a PTBNL (Tom Edens) for Juan Samuel
- June 19, 1984 – Sixers select Charles Barkley in one of the most famous NBA Drafts of all time
- June 20-30, 1992 – Flyers believe they have traded for Eric Lindros on draft night, but the trade is delayed 11 days due to Quebec apparently agreeing to two separate deals. Ultimately, Lindros becomes a Flyer
- June 21, 2018 – Sixers draft Mikal Bridges then trade his rights to Phoenix for Zhaire Smith and a 2021 1st from Miami (#18)
- June 23, 2011 – Flyers sign Ilya Bryzgalov for 9/$51m; trade Jeff Carter to the Blue Jackets for Jakob Voracek and 2011 1st and 3rd round picks; trade Mike Richards to Kings for Brayden Schenn and Wayne Simmonds
- June 26, 2014 – After selecting Joel Embiid #3 overall, the Sixers trade the #10 pick to the Orlando Magic for the #12 pick (Dario Saric), their own 2018 1st lost in the Bynum trade, and a 2015 2nd
- June 27, 2013 – The Sixers trade Jrue Holiday to the Pelicans for #6 (Nerlens Noel) and a 2014 1st round pick
- June 30, 2019 – Minutes after the start of free agency, the Sixers sign Tobias Harris to a 5/$180m contract, sign Al Horford to a 4/$109m contract, and sign-and-trade Jimmy Butler to Miami for Josh Richardson. None of these moves were good.

- July 5, 1968 – Sixers trade Wilt Chamberlain to the Lakers for Darrall Imhoff, Archie Clark, and Jerry Chambers
- July 9, 2008 – Sixers officially sign Elton Brand to 5/$79.8m contract
- July 17, 2008 – Phillies acquire Joe Blanton from the Oakland A’s for Matt Spencer, Josh Outman, and Adrian Cardenas
- July 25
- 2012 – Phillies sign Cole Hamels to a 6/$144m extension
- 2015 – Cole Hamels throw a no-hitter in his final start with the Phillies
- July 26, 2000 – Phillies trade Curt Schilling to Arizona Diamondbacks

- 1928 – Phillies Trade Harvey MacDonald and $7500 cash to the St. Louis Cardinals for future Triple Crown Winner Chuck Klein
- 2011 – Eagles trade Kevin Kolb to the Arizona Cardinals for Domonique-Rodgers-Cromartie and a 2012 2nd round pick
- July 29
- 2002 – Phillies trade Scott Rolen to the St. Louis Cardinals with Doug Nickle for Placido Polanco, Bud Smith and Mike Timlin.
- 2009 – Phillies acquire Cliff Lee and Ben Francisco from Cleveland for Jason Donald, Lou Marson, Carlos Carrasco, and Jason Knapp
- 2010 – Phillies acquire Roy Oswalt from the Astros for Anthony Gose, JA Happ, and Jonathan Villar
- 2011 – Phillies acquire Hunter Pence from the Astros for Jarred Cosart, Jon Singleton, Josh Zeid, and PTBNL (Domingo Santana)
- 2011 – Eagles sign CB Nnamdi Asomugha to a 5/$60m contract
- July 31, 2015 – Phillies trade Cole Hamels to the Texas Rangers for a whole lot of nothing
August
- August 10
- 2005 – Terrell Owens throws hissy fit in his driveway, does interview while doing shirtless situps
- 2012 – Sixers trade for Andrew Bynum in 4 way deal that sends Andre Igoudala to Denver and Nikola Vucevic, Moe Harkless, and a 1st to Orlando. Dwight Howard goes to the Lakers.
- August 12, 2020 – In the NBA Bubble, Mike Muscala hits consecutive 3s to send the OKC Thunder to a win over the Miami Heat, clinching a top 10 record for the season. The Thunder owe their Top 20 protected 1st round pick to the Sixers which will now convey. The Sixers select Tyrese Maxey.
- August 13, 2009 – Eagles sign free agent QB Michael Vick
- August 19, 2015 – Phillies trade Chase Utley to the Dodgers for John Richy and Darnell Sweeney. (hat tip to @PhilsTailgate)

- 1990 – Red Sox trade Jeff Bagwell to Houston for Larry Anderson (not Philly, but related)
- 2008 – Phillies trade for Matt Stairs, sending Fabio Castro as a PTBNL to the Blue Jays. Stairs becomes a Philly hero and probably still keeps Jonathan Broxton up at night. (hat tip to @philly_number)

- September 3, 2016 – Eagles trade Sam Bradford to Minnesota Vikings for a 2017 1st and a 2018 4th round pick
- September 11, 2021 – Eagles extend Jordan Mailata the first time, 4/$64m
- September 15, 1982 – Sixers trade for Moses Malone

- October 20, 1976 – Sixers pay $3m for Julius Erving
- October 27-29, 2008 – Phillies begin Game 5 of the 2008 World Series but don’t win until 2 days later after heavy rains hit Philly. This was the last time the Phillies won the World Series
- October 31, 2017 – Eagles trade for Jay Ajayi, sending a 2018 4th round pick to Miami

- November 1, 2023 – Sixers trade James Harden to Clippers after wild summer
- November 3, 2003 – Phillies acquire Billy Wagner from the Astors for Ezequiel Astacio, Taylor Buchholz, and Brandon Duckworth

- November 21, 1933 – Phillies inexplicably trade Chuck Klein to Cubs (trade back for him 2 years later)
- November 25, 2005 – Phillies trade Jim Thome to White Sox for Aaron Rowand and Gio Gonzalez
- November 27, 2006 – Phillies sign future disaster Adam Eaton to a 3/$24m contract. In a way too many 49 starts for the Phillies, Eaton managed a 6.10 ERA, and -2.6 bWAR.
